The annual Viesta event was back at Southern Methodist University this spring. Each of the commons at SMU holds these events annually to celebrate their sense of community. This year, Virginia Snider Commons held its signature Viesta party in March of 2022. This annual event was fiesta-themed with Mexican music and food. Students enjoyed bouncy houses, cornhole, delicious tacos, tamales, churros and agua fresca on Dallas Hall lawn. The beautiful 80-degree weather made it the perfect place to hang out with friends, eat delicious food and relax on the lawn. The decorations, music and food made everyone feel like they were in San Antonio. The commons has this event to commemorate the unforgettable memories made through living there.
